Hi, I'm Shelley.

A freelance illustrator, proud Stokie and adopted Scouser but who would rather call Italy home.
I specialise in designing travel illustration products, children's picture books & language resources.

​My inspiration comes from my love of travel magic, capturing places with soul, aesthetic qualities or stories. My work focuses on heavily on colour, and is intricate & textural displaying pattern based elements. I predominantly use watercolour, crayon and pencil to layer mark making. Every illustration is hand drawn and maintains a tactile, raw, handmade quality. This is something really important to me.

I have a degree in Graphic Arts Illustration from LJMU and a Masters degree in Children's Book Illustration from UCLAN. I launched my business in 2012 with support from the Enterprise Fellowship Programme for entrepreneurs at LJMU. I'm also a qualified Early Years Teacher and TEFL Tutor.​
