Hi, I'm Shelley.

A freelance illustrator, proud Stokie, and adopted Scouser but who would rather call Italy home.
I specialise in designing travel illustration, children's picture books and language learning resources.

​My inspiration comes from my love of travel magic, capturing places with soul, aesthetic qualities or stories. My work is often intricate, textural and displays pattern based elements. I predominantly use watercolour, crayon and pencil to layer mark making. Every illustration is hand drawn and maintains a tactile, raw, and handmade quality. This is something really important to me.

 I have a degree in Graphic Arts Illustration from LJMU and a Masters degree in Children's Book Illustration from UCLAN. I launched my business in 2012 with support from the Enterprise Fellowship Programme for entrepreneurs at LJMU. I'm also a qualified Early Years Teacher and TEFL tutor.​
